The camp staff team, whether small or large, is made up of a team of competent, passionate and driven individuals. Below are examples of individuals we would love to hear from who possess experience or qualifications in areas that prove how responsible and capable you are. You never know, you may even be considered for senior staff!

P.E. Teacher

Preferred Experience or Qualifications;

 

As a qualified Physical Education teacher, you will be well sought after by camps looking for those to fill positions that carry a large amount of responsibility, particularly within the athletics or sports field. 

 

With your teaching experience, you will be an invaluable addition to camp staff, potentially even being considered for a position on senior staff who oversee the running of camp as a whole, including all activity areas.

To be considered for a role of this type, you will have;

You may also have additional coaching experience in another area, such as the waterfront. This will strengthen your application further. 

Teacher

French/Spanish Language

Preferred Experience or Qualifications;

 

The USA is a multi-cultural country and with neighbouring countries that speak French and Spanish as first languages, becoming a Languages Teacher is a popular staff requirement for many camps. 

 

Some camps are joined by campers who’s first language may not be English so helping other campers to better their language skills will increase communication and camaraderie with campers of all backgrounds. 

 

If you are passionate about cultural immersion and would love to better your own language skills while helping campers to do the same, then this is the role for you.

Your role will be dependant on camp, but generally it will include;

 

Campers may have the opportunity to showcase their new language skills in an end of session talent show!
