We’re here to make your path to summer camp as exciting and stress-free as possible. Here’s how it all works…

1 - Apply now

Fill out our online application form and let us know your camp style preference:

If you're not sure which camp to choose at this stage don’t worry we can help you make that decision further down the line!

2 - Pay Your Application Fee

Choose your payment option:

Pay in full, get a big discount!
Or split into 3 instalments, starting with a £49 Stage 1 deposit or $99 if applying from outside of the UK and EU.

3 - Pre-Interview Screening

You’ll receive a short virtual pre-screening. Answer a few quick questions so we can get to know you and match you with the best interviewer on our team for your skillset.

4 - Start Your Official Application

We'll guide you to set up your official Skilled Summers application. Before your Skilled Summers interview:

Complete Steps 1–5 (out of 10) of the application process
Upload a profile photo

5 - Your Skilled Summers Interview

This is a friendly 45-minute chat to get to know you better — nothing to stress about!

What happens next?

Pass ✅ = You move forward
Not this time ❌ = We’ll refund your application fee minus a small admin fee: (£10 if applying from the UK or EU or $20 if applying from the rest of the world)

6 - Complete Your Application

Now that you’ve passed, it’s time to:

Complete Steps 6–10 of your visa sponsor application
Upload your police background check (ACRO if you're in the UK)
If you’re paying in instalments, now’s the time for your Stage 2 fee

7 - Get Matched With a Camp

We offer a personalised placement service. That means we’ll match you with a summer camp based on your unique skills and preferences.

8 - Camp Interviews & Hiring

If a camp loves your profile, they’ll invite you to interview.

You may be hired on the spot
Or hear back within a couple of days

Didn’t get hired? No worries — we’ll try again until you do!

9 - You've Been Hired

Celebrate — you're going to camp! Now:

Upload your camp contract
We’ll process your DS-2019 visa paperwork (starting January 1st of the camp year)
Pay your Stage 3 fee if you’re on instalments

10 - Pre-Summer Orientation

Your final step before camp!
