Specialist

The camp staff team, whether small or large, is made up of a team of competent, passionate and driven individuals. Below are examples of individuals we would love to hear from who possess experience or qualifications in areas that prove how responsible and capable you are. You never know, you may even be considered for senior staff!

Christian or Jewish Faith

Preferred Experience or Qualifications;

Religion plays a big part of a lot of the camps we work with across the USA. Although some simply look to promote certains values associated with a religion, others will have a higher level of practice. Camps of this type will be on the lookout for staff who are more heavily involved with their faith.

Christian Faith

If hired for a role at a dedicated Christian camp, you will not be required to actively lead sermons but you will need to feel confident enough to lead child focused bibles lessons through arts/crafts, plays and Sunday School.

Your willingness to work with different denominations (protestant, catholic, Pentecostal, Baptist) will allow you to be considered for more camps of this type.

Jewish Faith

If you regularly attend synagogue and have experience in teaching Torah studies to children, you will be the perfect candidate for any one of the dedicated Jewish faith camps that we work with.

Special Education/Special Needs

Preferred Experience or Qualifications;

There are several different camp types that we recruit for, none more meaningful than those that cater to campers with specific special needs.

If you are a qualified Special Education teacher, or just have a willingness and drive to help others with these needs have an equally as incredible summer as anybody else, then please get in touch.

There is a massive demand for staff in this area. Working with special needs campers can be incredibly challenging but is equally as rewarding.

As a Special Needs counsellor, you’ll be responsible for a camper on a 1-2-1 basis, supporting them in their day-to-day camp life and providing care when required. Your camper may have mental or physical limitations but will have the opportunity to partake in as many of the same activities as a other campers as possible.
